As of the 2021–22 school year, the high school had an enrollment of 2,165 students and 174.9 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 12.4:1. Public school students in ninth through twelfth grades attend Cherokee High School, which opened a 210,000-square-foot (20,000 m 2) addition in September 2001. From lowest socioeconomic status to highest, the categories are A, B, CD, DE, FG, GH, I and J.
